Description

A really superb collection of six framed and glazed,coloured, early angling prints depicting the salmon, the pike, the tench,(all historic captures with location from the late 18th and early 19th centuries), various techniques and devices aimed at the capture of freshwater fish.

These are excellent prints in excellent condition and will delight angling enthusiasts and decorators alike.

I am prepared to break the set if so requested but would obviously prefer to sell the whole.

All questions welcome.

Frame sizes.

1. Jaw bones, pike etc, 12.75 inches by 15.5 inches.

2. Trolling implements. 11 inches by 14 inches.

3. Thornville royal tench. 13.5 inches by 12.25 inches.

4. Snap hooks and trimmers. 11 inches by 14.25 inches.

5. Salmon. 14 inches by 11.25 inches.

6. Pike 1784. 14 inches by 11.25 inches.
