Georgian Mahogany Ladies Fitted Dressing Table. C. 1820

Description

Unusual Georgian mahogany fully fitted Ladies dressing table. The table has tapered legs with boxwood line inlay and boxwood & ebony collars. There is a matching boxwood and ebony line around the base and the drawers have a boxwood line around the edge also.

Only one drawer at the front actually is a drawer, the rest are dummies. The middle section of the top lifts up to reveal a framed mirror which is adjustable.

The two top sides are both hinged and open to rest against small lopers which pull out the side. They reveal storage space underneath one side having been divided up with lift off lids.

There is plenty of leg room when sitting to it. A very useful piece of Georgian furniture.

SIZE; 36" wide by 21" deep by 29" high
