Description

Victorian walnut Duchess dressing table. This is a lovely quality item, that is full of age, charm and character. Solid with no loose joints. The drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect). A rare and attractive piece, whose bevel edge mirror (light oxidation) holds position well.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Some extinct historic woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure and some veneer imperfections / cracking on the undertier (all quite normal and to be expected, nothing weakening). Dissimilar period castors (with some wear as one would expect).

Overall maximum dimensions: 122cm wide, 50cm deep, 175cm high (72cm high surface with a 58.5cm high knee hole (max)).
