Description

This is a stunning, room size antique West-Persian Sarouk carpet dating from the early 20th century. The rug has a beautiful crimson field with floral sprays enclosed by palmette and floral meandering borders, enclosed by double guard stripes. The rug is in excellent order, the selvedges are original and it is a good size measuring 368cm by 282cms.
