As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this super quality Japanese bronze model of a carp , the fish is well cast in a natural swimming pose appearing to give lots of movement throughout the body,the eyes are detailed in black shakudo and gilt highlights and he is nicely signed Zushi in a seal to the underside,a great representation of a carp as seen through the artists eyes.
The condition is very good with a nice patination throughout and very minor age related wear.
