Late 19th Century.

This outstanding item is of great historical interest.

The red ground is made of small sections of ‘British trade cloth’ given by the armed forces to the locals; then stitched together and embroidered with this stunning design.

A simple but beautiful weaving that would make an outstanding wall hanging.

The weaving is in excellent condition with slight signs of use.

The weaving has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
