This elegant wardrobe is a very practical size, made of mahogany, with a rich, warm colour.
To the top is a cushion moulded cornice, over an inlaid frieze of ebony and boxwood.
Below are double doors having panelled fronts, again with inlaid ebony and boxwood.
To the left door is a tie rack, with the opposing door having a small mirror to the top.
Internally to the right side are two compartments with two "drawers" below, the lower drawer being a belt or scarf rack.
To the base below the hanging rail is a brass shoe rack. Making excellent use of the space.
With the original bolt-lock to the left door, and ornate escutcheon and handle to the right door. No key.
Standing on bracket shaped feet.
The condition is very good antique condition, with general expected signs of use, minor knocks and bumps. There are knocks to the very back at the top of each side of the wardrobe, shown in the pictures, but really very unnoticeable because of it being at the very back and high up.
The cornice lifts of the main body of the wardrobe.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
