Late 19thc c1890.
Having a carved acanthus and scroll motif to each support. All the decoration is to one side of the beds, as they are designed to go side on against the wall, showing off the beautiful figuring of the mahogany. Each bed turns to the opposing side, so will look very striking used together.

Standing on later, re-placed castors.
Requires two 3ft single mattresses.
With custom made pine slatted bases.
Very sturdy, solid and strong.
The condition is good antique condition, with knocks and bumps to the lower parts of each bed, and general signs of use, shown in the pictures. Lots of warmth and character to the wood, having developed a lovely patina.

Completely dismantles-headboard-footboard-two side rails-the slatted base stacks. Held together with the original steel bolts. Easy to assemble.
