Duchess Dressing Table C.1860.

Description

Shapely Victorian era ‘Duchess’ dressing table c.1860. A particularly fine example of the form here with crossbanded mirror frame with three small drawers and exceptional floral carved detail, over a sparkling flame mahogany veneered table top with curved and thumb moulded edge repeated in the shaped drawer fronts. Beautiful carving again to the cabriole shaped front legs with a lovely scroll detail at the foot. Baluster silhouette rear legs joined with a shaped stretcher shelf. Solid mahogany drawer linings, original mirror plate and original porcelain castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polised in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 51", depth 23", height 66".
