Hand Painted French Dressing Table

1900 - 1920

Description

This original hand painted French dressing table is offered in very good condition.

The floral decorations are hand painted and are surrounded with gilded scroll borders.

The decorations are on the top, front and sides.

The dressing table has a multitude of uses with opening lids and drawers.

The dressing table has a lift up mirror with a storage compartment.

The two sides of the top section also fold open to reveal more storage.

To the right hand side of the knee hole there is a drawer, and just above the knee hole there is a brush slide.

The dressing table has a wonderful swept shape and the bottom of the feet are finished with ormolu cappings.

The overall dimensions are

1090mm tall when mirror raised.

800mm wide

420mm deep

730mm tall

The knee hole is 570mm tall and 330mm wide
