Beautifully Inlaid Antique Edwardian Mahogany Dressing Table

This Beautifully Inlaid Antique Edwardian Mahogany Dressing Table circa, 1900 has the original oval bevelled mirror which tilts, the mirror has slight foxing but does not detract from the elegance of this wonderful piece. It has tapering upright supports with brass finials above a shaped moulded shelf with two small mahogany lined drawers with the original brass swan neck handles. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two over two mahogany lined drawers again with the original brass swan neck handles. This delightful dressing table stands on four tapering legs with castors and all the edges are beautifully inlaid with ebony and boxwood cross banding. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
