Size: 8ft 4in x 6ft 0in (255 x 187cm).

Antique Afghan rug with Ersari Turkmen ensi inspired design.

Circa 1920.

This is a superbly made afghan rug, very firm dense weave with outstanding colour.

The large size of the rug and the scale of the drawing work perfectly to make this a wonderful furnishing rug.

The rug is in good condition with very slight wear and full pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.
