Description

Size: 4ft 1in x 2ft 7in (124 x 78cm).

Antique Afghan Turkmen prayer rug with very interesting design.

Circa 1920.

The rug has a row of 4 guls with a smaller gul above them.

The mihrab features a rams horn design.

The rug has excellent colour and soft glossy wool, the weave has a very firm handle.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
