Antique Caucasian 3 medallion Kazak rug with superb colour and great design.
2nd half 19th century.
The medallions are in shades of blue and green with the middle one being in a soft red.
The border is most unusual being of narrow design containing linked eight pointed stars.
The rug is probably of an earlier date than most example of this type that are seen.
The rug is in good condition with all over even wear and medium pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
