Lovely Quality Japanese Bronze Geisha on Stand Meiji Period .

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this very fine and heavy quality Japanese bronze okimono of a Geisha girl on a hardwood stand , the Geisha sits with her left hand holding a fan while she appears to be waving with the other , she is dressed in a traditional okimono and her hair is perfectly groomed and tied up with floral pins ,she has a signature seal and sits upon her original baize lined hardwood base, a really delightful okimono !!

The condition of the bronze is superb , the base has faded nicely leaving the bronze outline in a darker shade beneath .

Weight is a hefty 3.7 kg
