We are delighted to offer for sale this large and very heavy Victorian bronze group on a gilt decorated white marble plinth base , this charming bronze depicts a young girl resting upon a tree stump while she gives her companion some love and attention , the detail and subject are just gorgeous , she has a straw hat slung across her back and a band tied around her hair ,the dog looks at her lovingly as dogs tend to do when they want something ,the detailing of her body is quite lovely, the bronze sits upon a large white marble base decorated with gilded ormolu beading and decorative swags.

The condition is fabulous with only minor wear and a great patination , the base is bolted through to the bronze from the underside , unsigned but gorgeous !!
