The rectangular hinged top enclosing an interior fitted with three bevelled mirror plates, above two hinged compartments flanked by two glass slides and a recessed well, two fitted jewellery drawers and two short drawers on square tapering legs with caps and castors, with inset ivory plaque No 541493'; the fitted interior comprising of seven ivory brushes of various size, an ivory hand-mirror, an ivory button-hook, an ivory glove stretcher, an ivory shoe-horn, seventeen silver-gilt and cut glass bottles, dishes and jars, six various ivory and metal manicure implements and a silver-gilt hair-curler and warmer, each bearing the cypher 'C.O.A
