Superb Quality Japanese Bronze Koro Meiji Period 1868-1912

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to be able to bring this unusual koro on stand to the market ,this highly decorative ovoid shaped koro is decorated with figures at work in the most superb raised detail, supported by a pair of shaped mythical beast handles , the koro itself lifts out of its decorative tripod base , a truly great piece of Japanese bronze with tremendous detail.

The condition is lovely , it is a substantial piece ready for immediate delivery,would look great full of pot pourri !
