Superb Pair of Japanese Inlaid Bronze Vases Meiji Period 1868-1912

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are pleased to be able to offer this very fine quality pair of Japanese bronze vases from the Meiji period , the vases on original hardwood stands are inlaid in mixed metals including gold and silver , they show a pair of cockerels standing on branches amongst super quality prunus blossom , these vases are very good quality of their type and are not only factory stamped but also artist signed .

The condition is gorgeous and totally untouched since new ,for the purist i will point out very minor abrasions on the rear in a couple of places , so minimal i thought it was sticker glue residue ? , no dents or dinks just lovely !

Approximate height without stands 6"
