This mid-century modern wristwatch originates from the 1950 period and functions as a personal timepiece. Composed of stainless steel, leather, and acrylic materials, it combines silver and black tones in a polished finish. The design incorporates a round case, a textured waffle dial with applied arrowhead and Arabic numeral markers, and a dark textured strap attached via shaped lugs with a light chamfer to the edges. A ridged winding crown sits on the right side, while white text inscriptions appear across the dial face. The piece measures 31 mm in width, 38 mm in height, and 9 mm in depth. Placed on a wrist, it serves as a functional personal accessory for daily wear.

Mid-century Swiss sports wristwatches, such as the Cyma Watersport, combined water-resistant case construction with durable manual-wind or automatic movements intended for daily wear.

These timepieces were typically constructed with stainless steel or chrome-plated cases, acrylic crystals, textured metal dials, and internal mechanical movements featuring Cymas proprietary shock-absorption system.

Authentic examples exhibit clear dial printing including the Cyma logo and Cymaflex branding, correct movement stampings inside the case back, and period-appropriate case finishing.

A mid-century mechanical wristwatch serves as a functional accessory that seamlessly pairs with modern tailored suits as well as smart casual attire.

Vintage wristwatches should be kept away from water and strong magnetic fields, and the mechanical movement should be serviced by a professional horologist every three to five years.
