CKB Ltd Emporium & Collectables has dated this Cast Brass Flying Geese to the 1940s.
The graduated sizes allow the three birds to be arranged together in a traditional flying formation.

The reverse of each plaque displays a textured casting surface with an integral hanging lug. Two retain separate hanging rings.
The pieces exhibit considerable surface character, with darkened recesses, areas of oxidation, rubbing and variations in the golden finish. This gives the group an appealing established appearance, particularly when viewed together.

Stylistically associated with the flying-bird wall decorations popular from the 1930s onwards, these examples are provisionally considered to date from the mid-20th century, possibly circa 1940 Their precise date and country of manufacture remain unconfirmed.
