Antique French Louis XV Cherry Bombe Chest of Drawers | 18th Century

Antique 18th century French Louis XV bombe chest of drawers in cherry wood, a truly exceptional statement piece with a remarkable presence and unmistakable French character.

The beautifully shaped front and sides create an elegant flowing form, showcasing the graceful curves and refinement associated with furniture of this period.

Two large drawers occupy the lower section, with two smaller drawers above, all traditionally constructed with wonderfully thick handmade drawer sides that reflect the quality and age of the piece.

Striking Rococo brass mounts and exceptionally decorative brass handles contrast beautifully against the warm cherry wood, bringing richness and intricate detail to the design.

Every element feels individual, from the sweeping curves and beautifully shaped drawer fronts to the elaborate metalwork that gives this piece such an extraordinary appearance.

Gorgeous grain and colour are displayed throughout the cherry wood, with wonderful natural variation adding further depth and authentic period character.

In good condition, beautifully made and of excellent quality, this highly desirable example of 18th century French furniture is a magnificent statement piece capable of becoming the focal point of an interior.
