Oil on board (unframed) by the Belgium artist René Hulstaert (1903 - 1988). The painting is unsigned but comes from a large collection of the artists work, some signed and others not. The painting shows a view of a a snowy landscape and dates from around 1933 - 1945.

Born in 1903, René Hulstaert's creative work was largely influenced by the 1920s. The 1920s and 1930s saw continued development and evolution of the key innovations of the primary years of the twentieth century.
