Antique H & R Daniel Shrewsbury Shape Teacup & Saucer Set, C.1825

Description

An antique H and R Daniel teacup and saucer set in the Shrewsbury shape, pattern 4232. Each piece is handpainted with sprays of blue roses and other flowers. Dates to c.1825 - other pieces from the same service are also available in my shop at the time of listing.

Condition report:

Chips: none

Cracks: none

Crazing: none, both pieces ring true

Restoration: none

Gilding/pattern: excellent, with only very minor wear.

Please note that from the underside of the rim of the cup, some small lines can be seen that look on first glance like they could be craze lines but are actually little stress lines that occurred when removing the cup from the mould before firing. They are original to manufacture.
