Henry Percy Huggill Signed Original Early 20th Century Pencil Drawing Bruges Market Belgium Abbott & Holder

A finely observed original early 20th-century pencil drawing by listed British artist and printmaker Henry Percy Huggill, depicting a busy market scene in Bruges, Belgium. Market stalls and awnings fill the square, with numerous figures in period dress and the monumental architecture of Bruges forming the background. Huggill has handled the scene with particularly attractive loose but assured draughtsmanship, retaining considerable detail in the figures, merchandise and market structures. Inscribed lower right, apparently “Market – Grand Place / Bruges.” The reverse retains an old dealer label from the respected London gallery Abbott & Holder, 30 Museum Street, identifying:
