Description

An Appealing 19th Century Jug.

With a broad vine leaf decorated spout, flowing to the scrolled leaf rim, the motif repeated to the swept handle. The body with panels of pendant flowers, enclosed with scrolling foliage, the lower scrolled foliage forming the foot rim. The whole in good deep blue, and light yellow, with gilt definition.

Date circa 1850.

Height 10 inches, 26cm.

Width 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.

Depth 6 inches, 15cm.
