Antique Early 18th Century George I Period Elm Tallboy

An outstanding early 18th century George I period tallboy in beautifully figured elm of incredible colour and patination, the upper section with fine cavetto cornice above two short and three long drawers decorated with herringbone stringing flanked by shaped and moulded corners, the lower section with a further three long drawers similarly decorated, the whole raised on original bracket feet. the sides quarter veneered with wide crossbanding to the front and back edges.
