Description

Antique silver Waltham pocket watch, 1912.

The watch has a 7-jewel grade 610 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 18,775,266 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has surface marking and some fairly gentle unevenness.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1911, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company supplied cases to Waltham UK.The case has minor, nothing too detrimental, and some unevenness to the back of the watch.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye… if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there are three short faint hairlines.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
