Antique 1930s Record half hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement, identified as by Record, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the English case maker, the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition, the slight hint of an indentation to the front but nothing serious at all. The front cover has a central lens surrounded by dark blue enamel filled numbers.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
