The top drawer drops to reveal a fitted interior of pigeonholes, small drawers, and a lockable cupboard inlaid with Britannia, which also conceals secret compartments. Beautifully made with a warm colour and patina, it offers both storage and a practical workspace. Minor age-related marks as expected, but overall a solid, well-cared-for piece — a versatile and elegant example of Regency furniture, ready to place in any interior.
