Description

A wonderful antique oil painting by A. McDonald, signed and dated 1931.

This is beautifully executed on a stretched canvass, it depicts a scene in a European village of soldiers marching in the streets. It is a great size, though not much is known about the artist, he or she was clearly very accomplished.

The condition is excellent for its age, with no damage and only some minor wear here and there.
