The drawers are fitted with metal cup handles — a lovely period detail — and will all be checked to ensure they slide smoothly.Originally painted, the piece has since been stripped and waxed. The current finish is a little tired, so it will be properly cleaned back and re-waxed, which will really lift the overall appearance.
