Gents 1950s Delbana Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

Gents 1950s Delbana wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17 jewel Geneva Sport Caliber 40.41 (marked GSW 40.41) movement which is working nicely. This movement was used in various watches from the 1950s and 1960s including Delbana.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case is in beautiful condition. The case back is signed with the Delbana name, and it also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in super condition (some white natural light reflection showing in the photo).

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, red centre seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
