This is a wonderful, original Ink and Wash Study depicting twin sisters, both wearing large-rimmed hats.

Painted in 1943 by the listed British artist Jean-Georges Simon (1894-1968).

It is signed and dated (1943) in the lower left corner, as well as printed to the reverse with the artist's stamp.

The work is mounted within the original glazed frame,
