Roger Bradbury Antiques has dated this Egyptian Village Watercolour Painting to the 1950s.
The buildings look quite ramshackle unlike the grand buildings of the pharaohs which adorn this wonderful historic river which has been included upper right with palm trees on the far bank.

Anne Dorrien Smith was a much respected artist who is known for this type of subject.
Signed lower left, presented within a nice glazed gilt frame which bears small losses, with ivory coloured mount.
