Vintage Kashan Carpet of Large Size Suitable for Heavy Use, Circa 1930.

Description

Size: 16ft 5in x 10ft 6in (500 x 320cm).

Antique Kashan carpet of classic design and good colour.

Circa 1930.

The carpet has a small central medallion which is surrounded by a field of floral designs on a clear red ground.

The border is of a classic Kashan design on a dark indigo blue ground, it contrasts well with the field of the carpet.

The carpet is in good condition with slight wear and good pile, the carpet has slight fading in places as can bee seen in the images.

The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a dining or living room.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
