A Large 19th Century French Giltwood Sofa.

Of large scale, this sofa is gilded throughout and stands on seven turned and carved legs with toupie feet. The show frame on the back and the front seat rail are both carved with a repeating guilloche design, the legs are fluted with additional leaf carving where they join the front rail. There are also carved floral paterae on the blocks at this point.

Stripped to an under finish, ready for the client's choice of final covering.
