Antique Chinese Ningxia Rug 1.70m X 0.77m

A fabulous antique Ningxia rug, woven in northern China circa 1920. The design features 2 circular medallions containing 3 Fu dogs interspersed with stylised flowers and vines on a rare gold field surrounded by a simple key border. Very nice wool quality and excellent secondary colours.
 
Size: 1.70m x 0.77m (5ft 7in x 2ft 6in)
 
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
