A superbly stylish female bust maquette, most probably a preparatory sample pre-bronze, for client approval. The style, technique and hairstyle captures the modern optimism of the period and very much in the Mitford sisters manner.
Presented in excellent structural condition with an elegant timeworn surface patination to authenticate, surface dust and some dirt which we shall leave but any buyer may choose to clean.
