Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

This collection of six framed antique Vanity Fair lithograph prints depicts caricatures of men in formal Victorian and Edwardian attire. The collection features satirical caricatures, standing and seated portraits, top hats, and formal suits rendered on paper. The framed works employ metal frames with silver-grey and brown outer mouldings, grey matting, and clear glass glazing. The portraits display various poses, including gentlemen holding documents, wearing tails, waistcoats, bow ties, monocles, and trousers, set against plain backgrounds. Each framed art piece measures 43 cm high and 30 cm wide. These pieces suit a gentleman's library or a staircase wall in a traditional home interior.

Vanity Fair caricatures are colour lithograph portraits published in the British weekly magazine Vanity Fair between 1869 and 1914. They featured prominent politicians, intellectuals, athletes, and social figures, rendered in a distinctive satirical style by artists including Sir Leslie Ward, who signed his work Spy.

These prints were produced using chromolithography, a multi-stone colour printing process onto paper stock. Original period examples are framed behind glass using card mounts and metallic or timber mouldings.

Authentic prints feature original publication text at the top or bottom margins, including dates, printer details, or magazine references. Under magnification, authentic chromolithographs display smooth ink overlay or dot matrix patterns consistent with late 19th-century printing techniques, along with signature marks such as Spy or Ape.

Display these framed prints as a grid or gallery wall in a hallway, study, or dining space. The dark mounts and classic portraits create balance when paired with dark wood furniture, leather seating, or neutral backdrop walls.

Protect paper lithographs from direct sunlight and humid conditions to avoid fading and foxing. Frame prints using acid-free mounting board and UV-filtering glass to ensure long-term preservation of the paper and pigments.
