Lovely small suzani, a silk embroidery on cotton ground, made in 4 panels to demonstrate the bride-to-be''s skill with the needle. Often very playful with a design that is irregular and well animated, this mid 19th century embroidery has been carefully conserved and lined, and is now ready for display.
