Impressive Japanese Meiji (late 19thC) bronze lion with inlaid crystal eyes by Mitsumoto Omori (Kogen), one of Japan’s foremost sculptors of big cats (particularly lions and tigers). Signed on the belly in a seal. 33cm wide x 8cm deep x 18cm high, weight: 2.7kg.
