A Pair of 1930’S Watercolours by Ernest Uden, of Snowy Landscapes.

This delightful pair of winter snowy landscapes, one depicting a horse and cart with three figures in front of a Tudor building, with a church in the background. The other, a thatched windmill and cottage with a single figure. They have both been painted in watercolour and then highlighted with pen and ink.

Ernest Boye Uden was a painter, draftsman, and commercial artist. He studied at Camberwell School of Art and Goldsmith’s College. He exhibited from 1933 to 1936, including three works at the Royal Academy. This pair of delightful paintings is presented in matching wash line mounts with giltwood frames.
