Description

A charming and well-matched pair of floral still life paintings by Cecil Kennedy, each depicting delicately arranged blooms set against soft, graduated grounds. One composition shows a vibrant bouquet of roses and mixed flowers, the other a vase of white blossoms with accents of red and blue, both painted with the artist’s characteristic precision and subtle use of colour.

Each work is oil on canvas, signed lower right, and presented in finely carved and gilt frames which complement the paintings beautifully. The canvases measure 7.5 inches by 9.5 inches each. Both paintings are in very good condition and display particularly well as a pair.
