George III Breakfront Mahogany Wardrobe

Description

Circa 1800. A late George III breakfront mahogany wardrobe, the taller center section with a classic cornice, the frieze with flame mahogany, below a pair of panel and beaded doors with the finest flame mahogany with a brass beading separating the doors, inside with a hanging rail, the two outer sections which are lower with double panel doors with similar mahogany, open to an uninterrupted hanging, beneath the doors in the center section there is a bank of two short over two full length drawers each with turned knob handles, all resting on an enclosed mahogany plinth following the form of the top
