Antique Oak Dresser Base on Cabriole Legs

Description

An attractive antique oak dresser base with a warm, rich colour and a pleasing profile. The central cupboard, complete with a working lock and key, opens to reveal a single-shelf interior. It is flanked by two banks of graduated drawers, each fitted with brass swan-neck handles, and set above a neatly pierced shaped apron. The dresser stands on cabriole front legs and square back legs, making it both a handsome and highly practical piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with expected signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches, as well as water marks to the top. There is some loss to the foot of one of the cabriole legs (pictured) and staining to the central cupboard door, but overall the piece remains very solid and sound.

Our experienced carpenter thoroughly inspects, repairs, and restores each item in our collection to ensure it is fully prepared for use in your home.
