Description

An Edwardian antique satin walnut chest of drawers with decorative reeded drawer fronts. It features a rectangular top with a moulded edge, set above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers, each fitted with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The piece is raised on a shaped plinth base and displays a rich colour and patina throughout—overall, a particularly pleasing example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is a split to the top, though this does not detract from its overall appeal. Structurally solid and sound, with all drawers running smoothly.
