A Charming portrait miniature of a young lady in a white muslin dress with a pale blue bow. It is by Cornelius Bevis Durham ( see images for artist's info). The miniature is signed and dated 1848 on the reverse of the painting. It is cased in a dark red leather frame and you can remove the picture to see the reverse information. The dark red mount is showing some wear, but apart from that it is in good condition. It measures 8cm x 6.5cm.
