Superior Quality William IV Chest of Drawers C1830-37

Description

This is a Superior Quality Antique Mahogany William IV Chest of Drawers c1830-37. It is raised on turned and fluted legs with pilasters to each side topped with sconces. The Carcus is all solid Mahogany with the drawer linings also being solid Mahogany. there are four drawers of differing depths all with curl or fiddle back mahogany on them. the top drawer has a profusion of carving going all the way across. It has good patination and retains its original handles, locks and escutcheons. The handles have mother of pearl centres. This is the nicest William IV Chest of Drawers example I have seen.
