A beautifully painted panoramic autumnal view of one of Wales’s fine beauty spots. Cattle can be seen grazing at the waters edge, surrounded by trees and boulders which are highlighted by the sun. rolling hills in the background.

Harold Lawes was born in London and painted throughout the English, Scottish and Welsh countryside. He exhibited at the Birmingham Royal Society of Artists in 1892.

Presented within an early Boots glazed gilt frame which bears small losses. Boarded verso to protect against damp.
